If you've been in the vicinity of Pinterest lately, this Swimming hole with ladder picture may look familiar. Although it's often attributed to Starved Rock State Park in Illinois, further research reveals that it's actually in France, near a tiny town called Sermu in the Northeast region of Jura. The region is known for its rolling, forested hills, babbling streams and many lakes. If you do get a chance to investigate, check out the nearby (Cascade des Tufs) the waterfall tumbles down mossy boulders and over hidden caves, and it's really one of the country's prettiest hidden gems.
