41-Story Drop Ride (New Jersey)

After a year of construction and delays, a brand new ride at Six Flags Great Adventure is ready to break records while tossing your cookies. At 41 stories high, Zumanjaro is now the world's tallest and fastest drop ride... and as the new video shows, it's terrifying.

Originally set to open over Memorial Day weekend, Zumanjaro was delayed due to a particularly harsh winter.

"We battled through one of the harshest winters in history and high wind challenged the construction crew atop Zumanjaro's massive towers this Spring," Six Flags President John Fitzgerald said in a news release.

Now, Zumanjaro is days away from sending riders plummeting toward the ground at over 90 miles per hour. The drop will only take ten seconds, but the trauma will last years

If you're brave enough to give it a shot, the ride is expected to open up any day now at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ. Godspeed, thrillseekers.
